Outline of equipments When necessary, after pre-treated, waste is dumped into the incinerator with the feeder suitable for its shape. A rotary kiln (a primary combustion furnace) and a jet furnace (a secondary furnace) are operated at high temperature with residence time sufficient necessary for combustion. Therefore, generation of dioxins are minimized and the gas is rendered harmless, and the weight of wastes is dramatically reduced. The effluent gas of high temperature form the furnace is instaneously quenched by spraying a large quantity of water. Then, the gas is cleaned and neutralized in a scrubber, in which alkali liquid is circulated. Kureha waste incineration system is capable of incinerating mixed wastes which are diversifying these days, and strictly observing the environmental standards which are becoming severer recently.
